How we handle the information you share with us.

Friction, LLC ("Friction," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website stopfriction.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep this simple on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email us at friction@stopfriction.com.
Friction, LLC is a consulting practice organized in the State of Wyoming, USA. We help owner-operators remove friction from their businesses.
We only collect what we need to respond to you and to run our business:
Information you give us. When you fill out our contact or booking form, we collect your first name, last name, email address, phone number, company name, and any message you write. You choose what to send us.
Payment information. If you purchase a paid diagnostic or engagement, payment is handled by our payment processor, Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe — we do not see or store your full card number.
Usage information. We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool (Plausible) to understand how many people visit the Site and which pages are popular. Plausible does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personal information. The data we see is aggregate and anonymous (for example, total visits to a page).
We use the information you give us to: reply to your inquiry and schedule a call; provide the services you ask for; send you information related to an engagement you started; process payments; and keep records required to run our business. We do not use your information for unrelated purposes.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate, and only as needed to do their job:
Zoho CRM — stores your contact details so we can follow up with you.
Stripe — processes payments securely.
Plausible — provides anonymous, cookieless website analytics.
Netlify — hosts the Site.
Microsoft 365 (Outlook) — delivers and stores our email correspondence with you.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
We keep your information for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet our legal and business obligations. If you would like us to delete your information, email friction@stopfriction.com and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to stop contacting you. To make a request, email friction@stopfriction.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws; we will honor those rights where they apply.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information and we work with established providers (Zoho, Stripe, Netlify, Microsoft) that maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Site is for business users and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
