Last updated: June 25, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website stopfriction.com (the "Site") and any services offered by Friction, LLC ("Friction," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Friction, LLC is a consulting practice organized in the State of Wyoming, USA.
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the Site, interfere with its normal operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, or use it to violate any law. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.
The content on the Site — articles, frameworks, pricing examples, and other materials — is provided for general information. It is not legal, financial, tax, or investment advice, and it does not create a consulting or advisory relationship. You should not act on the information without seeking advice suited to your specific situation. A formal engagement begins only when we agree to it in writing.
We offer a free discovery call. Submitting a form or booking a call does not obligate either of us to enter into a paid engagement. Any paid work is governed by a separate written agreement between you and Friction, LLC, which will control if anything in it conflicts with these Terms.
Paid diagnostics and engagements are billed through our payment processor, Stripe. Fees, deposits, and refund terms for a specific engagement are set out in the agreement or invoice for that engagement. By submitting a payment, you authorize the charge described at checkout.
The Site and its content — including text, design, logos, and the "Friction" name and branding — are owned by Friction, LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. You may view and share the content for your own non-commercial reference. You may not copy, republish, or use it commercially without our written permission.
The Site may link to other websites we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those sites. Visiting them is at your own risk.
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Friction, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the service giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Friction, LLC from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Wyoming, unless a separate engagement agreement says otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
